CAPELLA

This terra area, intersected by the rilles Rimae Gutenberg, separates Mare Tranquilitatis from Mare Nectaris. The northern edge of Mare Nectaris is close to the prominent pair of craters Capella and Isidorus. The double, pear-shaped crater Torricelli and the small crater Censorinus, which is one of the brightest objects on the Moon, also contribute to the character of this region.
